I’ve recently been diagnosed with rcc, found by having an xray for a hernia
i had a my kidney and adrenal gland removed on 16th October stayed had 3 keyholes and a larger wound to remove tumour
ended up getting chest infection and had low oxygen so stayed in 11 days, was home for 5 days but wasn’t right so ended up in a&e with sepsis and pneumonia so stayed another 7 days
im much better now and have my first oncology appointment in January to discuss immunotherapy
im lucky as my cancer hadn’t spread as i had no symptoms
just crossing my fingers for the future but very scared and overwhelmed x
