Had a laparoscopic nephrectomy Friday so still early days. Tumour incidental find like most are but been having persistent abdominal pain and bloating and since surgery it’s significantly worse. I know they use gas in procedure and also not opened bowels yet so maybe some is due to that but what’s others say about it ? Will it ease ? I’m concerned something else going on in organs in that region … ovaries/liver Etc ??! Could it just be my anxiety now that makes me feel it’s growing
If it continues please contact your hospital ward. I had internal bleeding a day after my surgery. I was still in hospital thankfully. They brushed it off until I passed out putting it down to gas. The pain was terrible. Don’t leave it too long before you seek medical advice
