I had m6 kidney removed on February 14th. I went home on thre 18th. Sleep on my back for 3 days then slept on my side. I had my staples removed on the 27th. I'm getting plenty of sleep now.
Very Emotional recovery, I have moments of depression. I feel fatigued also. No real appetite but when I eat I am faced with the challenge of constipation. The good news is I am taking medication temporarily for my depression. I also have over the counter medication for constipation. I can walk upright and move around very well. No stiffness. My husband assist me anyway needed so I am very grateful for him.
Had my nephrectomy op on 24th Feb. Stayed in a side ward for 4 days. Well looked after at Southmead hospital. There is pain but I had keyhole surgery so only 5 small insitions which do pull when you get up and down. But 5 days on im walking about the house ok. Sleeping,eating well.feel ok in myself. So nit scary at all so far. Lxx♡
