My husband has just been diagnosed with kidney cancer having had 3 weeks of investigations for lymphoma. He has gone downhill rapidly and is not managing to eat much, and from being an active 66 year old now has trouble walking around the house. He is extremely tired and sleeping a lot. I've just got some complan to see if I can get some nutrition into him in preparation for chemo - we haven't got a date for that yet but it will be around 3-4 weeks I believe. Any suggestions would be appreciated, as he is losing weight pretty quickly and I'm really worried, thank you
Hello, I am so sorry to hear of the situation that your husband ( and you) find yourself in.You obviously care about him very much. I was wondering whether you had spoKen to your GP about your concerns re the weight loss?
I have found a leaflet for you which may help.
Do keep in touch with the group as you will find a lot of encouragement and support here. Also, remember to look after yourself too.
Sending you my very best wishes, Jules xx
