I’m new to the group and was diagnosed with kidney cancer in November 2021. I was waiting for it to be removed but was then told that it had spread to my lung so this would not happen. I’ve recently started immunotherapy treatment but have just been told that the nodule on my lung may not be cancerous after all. At the minute I’m staying open minded until I know for sure.
Hi Chocaholic and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is an informative and supportive place to be.
This sounds like a very hard place to be at the moment with you not knowing for certain whether you have a spread to your lungs or not. Do you know when your team will know?
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
