Hi

My husband was diagnosed in 2014 with renal cancer, it should have been straight forward keyhole surgery, but by the time they got to it it was in his lymph nodes... however this is now 2021 and he is still here..  he has treatment every month and meets his consultant every 3 months..he just takes each day as it comes.. he loves being outdoors and has a very positive attitude...  just wanted to say never give up..  that is the most important thing.. I hope this will give others some hope..

  • Thanks

  • Thank you so so much

hubbys just been diagnosed with stage 4 renal in his left kidney on Thursday. We are both absolutely terrified! We see the team on either Monday or Tuesday (if Tuesday I can’t be there as I’m away on a work conference I’m hosting) I don’t want to do it but have no choice.
what was the initial prognosis and treatment plan for hubby, if I may ask

  • I've been stage 4 for a number of years now.. my treatments ongoing with regular treatment breaks. So I take Pazopanib very day n see/ speak to my oncologist every 3 months or so. With scans n blood tests the same.
