Hi Judith , sat here in hospital for me it was eight weeks from first scan to removal hope it helps ,

I heard from Urology within a week of the scan then had a few meetings with then and additional scans .

Hi Judith ,

The consultant said keyhole full recovery 4 weeks and open surgery 6 weeks if no follow up treatment is required .

Hope to be out of hospital this week I'm pretty fit and healthy in general fingers crossed.

So planning on the 6 weeks as had both procedures to get the kidney out .

I hope you get sorted quickly it's the waiting I found the hardest to cope with .
