I stopped taking Lenvatinib on the 5th of August as surgery is happening on the 26th. I cannot believe how much better I feel. My appetite which had been pretty much none existent for several weeks has returned and my energy levels are much improved. Not exactly running around like a five year old but definitely better. I am making the most of it as I guess I will be feeling somewhat different post surgery. Also the oncologist will be putting me back on it at some point as part of what I assume will be a mopping up exercise. Still, it's great whilst it lasts.

  • Hello

I am Brian one of the Community Champions here at Macmillan. I have just noticed your post has gone unanswered. I can't answer it myself as I have a different cancer, however by me replying your post will be "bumped up" to the top of the page and i hope seen and answered by other members of the group.

Your post is a very positive post and I wish you all the best with your surgery on 26 August.

    Best wishes - Brian.
