Feel we have been lied to constantly, nowhere near of getting my mum treatment for her cancer, she is now over the days target foe cancer ( NHS) GP was going to get the macmillian nurses in ( that was 3 weeks ago) & nothing, she only had her biopsy on 63 days of being referred, & nowhere near getting a oncology appointment.
Hi,
I am having similar issues and know it is a really stressful time.
I am still waiting for my biopsy results to see what type of cancer I have, they needed to do further testing to do this - it will have taken around two weeks. My cancer referral was done on 19th March…I don’t think it’s usual for the process to take this long though.
Can you ask to speak to one of the oncology nurses in the department, they may be able to tell you more.
I hope you and your Mum get the answers and appointments you need soon.
Sending good wishes and positivity,
Rosie
