I was diagnosed with T1 kidney cancer in January. No date yet for nephrectomy. How long did other people have to wait for operation.
I was officially diagnosed T3a at the very end of January - 16cm tumour. They did my radical nephrectomy on March 7th to get it out before it had a chance to spread.
Although cancer is never good, the fact you are only T1 is a blessing that it was caught early - if tumour is small they may just do a partial and via keyhole. All the best.
Thank you so much for your reply. That has been very helpful. Best wishes with your recovery.
