Hi, just curious how old people are. I’m 39 and will be having nephrectomy on Wednesday.
Hi I was 39 when I was Diagnosed, cancer found by accident, no symptoms at all, was stage 3/T3a was told it was in the fat outside the kidney too, got nephrectomy on my left kidney, during covid too, was very tough but kept very positive, that was 3 years ago past in December, no treatment just scans, I’m due one this month and always worry coming up to them, good luck on Wednesday
I was 55, I did have symptoms, namely fatigue, night sweats, weight loss and a bit of flank pain, and had a Laparoscopic RHS radical nephrectomy in June last year. I was lucky to be pt1b, and clear at my first post op CT scan around 4 and a half months after.
I have had a few slightly concerning symptoms recently (blood in urine, repeated UTIs, fatigue again) so my 6month scan due in April is being brought forward to Monday. Rather anxious as you would expect.
Hi brizzle4eva,
Hope you are recovering well and back on you feet Sandy
Thankyou. Very nervous. How did you find the recovery? I have a newborn to look after so dreading it.
