I received a message fro Sue’s husband ( buttercup 01 ) saying Sue passed away in November. I can’t believe it she had been doing so well on Pazopanib. Both her and Gragon gave me support when I started treatment. I’m devastated
Hi Ian436,
Thank you for letting us know I was often thinking about Buttercup and wondering how she was doing, like yourself she was one of my first contacts when I joined the group, I am so sorry to hear this news as she was most helpful and very up beat if you contact her family please send my sincere condolences.
love Sandy
Sandra, I did get a reply from Sues husband. Sue was stable but had to stop treatment due to cellulitis in her legs and was hoping to start treatment when this was sorted. Unfortunately lesions we’re detected in her bladder which she had before and had previously been dealt with. She then developed a swallowing problem and collapsed 3 times in a weekend. She was taken to hospital and given IV antibiotics which did not work and Sue passed away in hospital. The cause of death was put down to Sepsis and metastic cancer. I passed on condolences from all who knew Sue on this group.
Thanks for letting us know. buttercup01 responded to one of my posts and welcomed me when I was new to the forum. Always sad to read updates like this.
