Hi all
I am on the road to recovery or so I thought I have an untimely issue since my surgery from the 14th November where my kidney was removed and today really hit a low point it maybe nothing but I thought I would ask the community !
my skin under my finger nails has started to turn a brown colour in both of my hands ? , I have pins and needles in my left hand and in my right thigh I have a constant dead leg feeling , I went for a shower and stepping in to it I felt something I never felt before as though someone had stuck a knives in my side?
it made me incredibly venerable the fist time since I found out three months ago it just hit home that not knowing if these are related to my surgery have hit home in a big way I have graced sometime to have a good sob about it and spoken to my wife about how scared I feel, like most if you in this community it’s the dead of not knowing that hits you !
so sorry for the long text and I hope that all of you have had some form of a Christmas and peace in the light of what ever staff you are your journey .
many thanks in advance god bless you all
I have made contact with my G P over the issues I have had recently over Christmas and she had no idea what has caused it and never seen it before the change in skin colour under my nails they have taken blood pressure , urine and sent me off for blood tests ? So I went to my local infirmary where the nurse asked me about the same thing and she also said the same thing that in all her years she had never seen it before ? So I am still in limbo waiting to see if my blood comes back normal hopefully it’s something and nothing ???
Hi Milli1964,
So sorry to hear you have had a couple of problems, Jules is right that you should have had it checked out, maybe they will find what the problem is with your skin under your nails, we all know that when something does occur we think the worst but, you have done the right thing talking to the professionals and hopefully they will be able to sort it out for you soon, I would also like to wish you a Happy New Year too love Sandy xx
Hi Sandra
Many thanks for your post I have had to think logically where I could get advice from so started with what was available to me until I could get to speak to my GP ! Still waiting to find out what is going on she did say I have 3 separate thing going on but are not connected so still in limbo ?? Have a great New Year all the yo you and yours
