Good afternoon All,

Quick question!

I had my left kidney & Ureter removed in April 2021 and it was a success.

I now have tumour my abdomen, in the site where they removed my kidney.  Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Thank you.

  • Hi Happy Sailor

well done for going through the surgery. I had the same op and was left with a tumour in my belly button at the end of the scar. I also have some tumour in my pancreas. No one seems bothered about the one in my belly button. I have had immunotherapy and the tumours have been stable since 2020.

good luck with any further treatment Hugging

    • Hi there, nothing to contribute, other than glad you had a successful op. I agree with Lynsired, everyone is different it's just the managing. If you are new to this "chat" ,welcome, if you are an old stager, hello and glad to hear from you. Adrian
  • Hi Lynsired,

Thank you for the info, it is very much appreciated.

Hope all is well and treatment is going well.

  • Hello Adrian, just checking how you are? We have just come back from Christchurch and it was bliss! Xx

  • Hi happy sailor ( great name). Just wanted to say sorry to hear that you have another tumour….

Hopefully they will give you a treatment plan soon .

    Best wishes, Julies xx

  • Hi Jules, struggling a bit. Really had an uncomfortable lower back for about 6 weeks now. Not that surprising in the grand scheme, bearing in mind where the cancer is.. l am able to keep that under control tho'. Trouble is that it probably has nothing to do with the 'illness' but some unrelated  problem. On the upside l seem to coming through it!

We were hoing to go away but too hot to travel.Looks like you got the weather right and have managed to avoid the really hot. temps.

Everyone do keep drinking water, on Monday, just pottering around in garden, l lost a kilo in body weight thro' perspiring AND I was continually topping up with water. Take care in this oppressive heat. Love to all and thanks Jules. Adrian
