Hi everyove Suffolkflyer here. I am afraid that after all this time l still randomly find different contact methods. So not sure whether this will reach an appropriate area l am "confused .com". RoflRofl Never mind. I finished Gem/ Cis chemo for Stage 4 kidney cancer etc etc, back in Jan 22 but am still suffering from chemo stomuch bloat which is uncomfortable. Does anyone have any info re "how much longer does it go on for. ( 4 mths so far) and do you have any combat methods.  Everyone keep  well. Love from Adrian

  • Hi Adrian, Wave no answers to your Q I'm afraid but just thought it was worthwhile responding to say "your post reached us!".  I wonder if the Chemo group might know as I don't recall many kidney people posting about chemo.   Claire xX

  • Thanks, l have no idea how to get to "chemo group" . OK, just found it. Thanks Claire

  • Hi Adrian,

Sorry I too am not sure about that, unless I do have a big tummy anyway, that is one thing I have not suffered from on my chemo other side affects but not that one have you found anything on chemo site?

  • Hi Sandy, no l'm afraid not. It may be there but l can't find it. I'll try contact with a chemo nurse at Southend. Bit obvs. to be honest. Now why didn't l think of that before. Doh!. Love to you. Adrian.

  • It's not there, I've posted it there for you, and tagged you, so you should see it, and any responses.
I don't know if you are using the forum via a phone or laptop, but if the Search bar is visible, then you can put in "chemo bloat" and see every mention on all the groups.  Quite a few results are returned but the top few I looked at, people are discussing it during treatment.  It's something else for you to try.  Good luck.

  • Mmun,Thank you , you are really kind, involving yourself in all our "queries" Thank you again. Adrian

  • Hi Mmum ( got it right this time) Found it and homed in on it like a tortoise. And there was me thinking l was unusual in still experiencing bloating 4 mths after chemo. (P.S. my wife says l am unusual and NOT in a good way) after 55 yrs she should know!  Again thank you. I really find it difficult to thank you enough for all the advice and help you give us fellow travellers. Love Adrian

  • Happy to help Relaxed  We all want answers don't we?!
