I am sorry that I don’t have the answer about a similar experience, but I would just like to say hello and to say that I am sorry about the situation that you find yourself in………and of course send you one of my legendary big hugs.

With regards to whether the cancer has spread….in my experience the doctors are very honest about whether cancer has spread and this certainly is taken into consideration with treatment plans.

Did you have a nurse at your appointment? Or were you given a card with details of the nurse. If so, why not give them a ring and discuss your concerns with them.

yes I have got a specialist nurse I hadn’t thought about asking her but I will give her a ring I don’t find it easy asking for help I’m so used to doing the helping but I need to ask for help
