Hello fello chatters

I am 5 weeks off the end of my the 8 cycle of GEM/CIS chemo, l am having the odd day when l am totally wacked. Being 76yrs, old age comes to mind although the new 70 is the old 50 (WinkWink) Can any one give me any idea when the chemo finally gets out of the system? Thanks and please all keep safe and well. Adrian

  • Hi Suffolkflyer,

Hi Sandra, good to hear from you. Low sodium..... not had it myself but l have heard it can make you feel rubbish. My tiredness is transitory and l will feel better. I am sure you will too. Keep safe.

  • Thank you Adrian, yes I am very low at the moment because I cannot start my new chemo until my sodium comes up trying to stay positive.

Dear Sandy, now l do know that awful low feeling, nothing can shake you out of it other than starting the treatment that you have been scheduled for. You have been through a lot and you'll get through this. Keep strong. ADRIAN
