Hello everyone, l am "suffering" (not major problem), with Peripheral Neuropathy i.e. in my case numbness mainly in my feet. I finished Gem/Cis chemo 5 weeks ago . Does anyone have experience of this and can l expect a reduction in the described symptons?

Any information appreciated and thanks. Adrian

  • Hi Adrian

Having not had chemotherapy myself I don't have any experience with peripheral neuropathy to share with you but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it to the top of the discussion list where hopefully someone who has experienced this will see it and respond.

You might find this information from Macmillan on peripheral neuropathy helpful as it has a section on managing peripheral neuropathy.

    All the best x

Dear Latchbrook, thanks again for your response. This was a temprary blip which not serious and only lasted a couple of days. I am now over it. But thanks for the heads up on the MacMillan info. Regards, Adrian

  • Good to hear you're over it.
