First operation

Hi there Busybee, l must admit that l have not had an operation for my kidney as it is inoperable. BUT l learnt at an early stage that googling stuff and looking at the information can lead you up the garden path. I am speaking in general terms of course but even information purportedly coming from NHS sources can not be relied upon. Speak to your Oncologist or nurse, they are far more reliable and empathetic. Above all trust your consultant and above all stay strong. I wish you well. Adrian

What op have your already had, I had my left kidney and spleen remove by open surgery, will you be having your right or left part kidney taken out and what sort of op are you having, not sure what you wanted to know, but Adrian is right you should speak to your oncologist or nurses if you want information on it

Hi Sandra I had bladder stretch to try reduce infections as consultant said may cause more problems when having tumor removed what I don't know. It's my right kidney my tumor is on.
