Hi Mark, so glad to hear things are going better for you, even though you still feel sore.I really felt for you when you posted your message. I expect that it’s a big relief that it’s now gone and the hospital think it went well. Take care Jules
Hi Mark24682744,
I am so pleased that you are feeling a lot better we all heal at different times, I do think it all depends on what people have for surgery and also what they take, take care keep safe Sandy
Hi Sandra thank you so much for you kind words. And I hope that things are going your way
Hi Mark. I’m glad you’re on the mend. I had my partial nephrectomy just over 2 years ago and all looking good so far. My op was with the da Vinci remote system which was amazing. I was out in 24 hours and quickly on the mend. But I still have no idea how I got kidney cancer, I don’t smoke and drink very little, pretty healthy, in my 50s etc. I saw the consultant for 10 mins after I’d come around but hadn’t seen him before or since. Wondering what other people’s experiences are in terms of thinking about causes - I keep thinking about it.
Hi William999,
I don’t think I have considered what caused my cancer, I know one in two people suffer from cancer, I don’t think it is something I have done, I do believe it just happens and there is nothing you can do to stop it, I have known lots and vegans and vegetarian who live a healthy lifestyle running, swimming and keeping fit, but they still get it, try to stay positive and keep yourself fit and healthy I know this can help a lot of us, be safe and take care
I went in on Monday and was on my way home Tuesday brilliant team all of them
Hi Jules sorry I didn't respond to you message , I've had a lot on .with different things but I'm OK just get a strange feeling in my stomach if I bend right over which feels wierd but I'm good go to hospital next week so find out for definite if he got it all .I'll be asking when they are going to see if the spot on my lung has grown .I'm hoping it is a scar from when I got pleurisy fingers crossed but I'll beat it if it isn't anyway thanks for the messages
