Any advice please on how long it takes for injection lumps and bumps to disappear from stomuch injection site.

  • Hi Suffolkflyer,

when I came home from hospital and had to gave myself injections for 28 days, it was the worst I had bruises and bumps all over my groin area, It was very painful and I hated doing it each evening before bed, I am quite lucky with bruises they same to go quickly, I would say about two weeks and I was back to normal, I think it all depends on your body if it is quick at healing, someone might be  able to help you more have you stopped your injections now I hope so Thumbsup

  • Hi Sandra, on both counts you are spot on. Well clearly l 'm not as muscle toned as l thought. My lumps are still here 3 months down the line and another 3 to go. Not unsightly just there to annoy me. As for the web site. It completely baffles me and like you l have to get an email from someone posing a question to be able to engage. Hey ho. Age does not help either. Keep safe. Re blogs l "may" have cracked it!!!

  • I had to use blood thinning injections for 28 days after my operation and had a lot of bruises and a few lumps.  These all seemed to disappear after a couple of weeks.  I now use Bio oil on my scars and stomach which seems to help quite a bit.  My friend a retired nurse recommended it to me and it certainly makes my skin feel good.

    Take care
