Hi all ,it is that I cannot get my head around, why the want to do nothing and watch it .OK they say it is small at 14mm .but I really think its better to get rid rather than just leave it there to grow .OK I know they are usually slow growing .I have to be honest I don't want it inside me. Is there anyone one else in the same predicament as me and what are your thoughts on it
Hi Mark24682744 I can well understand you wanting to get rid of it, whatever size it is.
Mine was much bigger at 9cm n had been growing for poss 10 years, but
it doesn't make any difference
Can n you not persuade the surgeon to do the op or does he want to "" watch n wait"?
Sue x
He wants to watch and wait. But not said this outright. Not even heard anything at all for about 4 or 5 weeks. So I've not a clue
Hi Buttercup01,
There is a young lady who’s dad has just been diagnosed with kidney cancer, I believe she would be grateful if you were able to contact her her user name is Mouse7 I know you are our community champion
many thank
Query it Mark246827444682744 with your specialist nurse if you have not heard anything. Meantime, hang on in there!
Hi @sandra 55, please remind me of user you want me to get in touch with. Was it mouse?
Thanks,
Sue
Seems crazy to leave a solitary tumor in place I would insist it’s removed or at least get a second opinion from a top specialist
I agree
I was going to send mouse a message but can't it says I can't. I don't know how to reach out to her
Hi Mark24682744 you need to send her a friend request then you can send private messages between the 2 of you.
Do you have her full username? If not, I'll try n find it for you
Sue x
Don't even know how to do that, I'm a it thick when it comes to technology lol
