Found out today from my oncologist that new ruling means NHS won't fund Pazopanib if u have a break of more than 3 months.
There are other drugs available for kidney cancer, but if you've got used to taking Pazopanib be warned!
Oh no, that affects you doesn't it? So where does that leave you now?
I've never been offered more than a couple of weeks break, but never got to the stage where it would likely be safe to have a prolonged break either. Wonder what the theory is behind that?

It was literally yesterday my oncologist told me. He's usually very on the ball with things and is involved in research so I doubt he'd've got it wrong. Suspect they're hanging fire on publicising it...
Yes it affects me in that it's 3 years + since I last took it. When I came off it, I was told I'd b able to go back on it as I'd responded well to it.
