This week has been a good week.
Hubby starts treatment a week on Monday. Avelumab by fortnightly infusion and Axitinib daily tablets. He was given a blood transfusion this week to raise his red blood cell count (he was initially diagnosed with anaemia before Christmas which is what has lead to his Cancer diagnosis) and he is so much better in himself just from having that.
The side effects of the treatment sound scary but I have read a few positive posts on here from people on the same combination so we are keeping our fingers crossed.
If anyone has any advice or experience of this treatment it would be great to hear from you.
xx
