Hey Guys
I’m about 1 1/2 months out of chemo my least scan was all clear. However I can still feel a couple of lumps in my neck , does anyone still have small lumps in neck after ? I’m just freaking out right now :(. Even the nurse said it’s probably just scar tissue but I just can’t help the anxiety.
Hi Gina94 great to hear your scan was clear.
I have a different type of Lymphoma but my brick sized mass was in my neck. I am over 8 years out from my main chemo and still can feel to scar tissue lumps and bumps.
My consultant said that it’s basically impossible for all the excess tissue created by the mass to completely disappear, you just have to learn to live with it.
The main problem I have is the pain from my wife’s slippers being thrown at me with the words “Stop playing with the lumps!!!!”
She is spot on as the more I fidget with the area the more the tissue gets inflamed.
Thank you so much that gives me hope, I always thought I would be great when I got the all clear, however the mental side effects are crazy !!
