Hi all! Just wondering if anyone knows what levels your bloods need to be at neutrophils for chemotherapy going ahead? TIA
Hi Michie and welcome to this corner of the Community although I am always sorry to see folks joining us. I am Mike and I help out around our various Lymphoma groups. I don’t have HL but I was diagnosed back in 1999 with a rare, incurable type of NHL Stage 4a so although my Lymphoma ‘type’ is different I understand the challenges of the journey well.
Normal Neutrophil levels are between 2.0 to 7.5......... and in general, a Neutrophil count of below 1.0 is classified as being Neutropenic and be more open to infections including Sepsis.
So anything below 2.0 may stop treatment but counts below 1.0 most likely yes. My treatments was delayed a few times and once due to low Neiuts.
