I'm just about to start my 2nd cycle of BEACOPP, after having 2 cycles of ABVD that wasn't working as well as my oncologist was hoping for!!!
I've tried just about every tablet they can think of including ondansetron, domperidone, stemitil, and am currently on Nozinam (methotrimeprazine I think?) but still getting severe nausea!!
Anyone got any tips/ advice?
I knew this chemo stuff wasn't going to be a walk in the park, but it's really starting to get me down!
Sorry to hear the challenges you are having, unfortunately for some there is no perfect med that can do the job….. just make sure you are drinking lots as you need to be well hydrated.
Thanks as ever Mike, just thought someone might have a "panacea" amongst the group! Ah well, I'll just plough on and hope the nausea doesn't get any worse
Best wishes and thanks for your support
