Had my first chemo on Tuesday and gradually felt worse and worse. Now I have a feeling of bruising in spots on my back neck and head. Sort throat.metallic taste, headaches. Can’t sleep.are these normal or should I call the oncology dept tomorrow? Feeling really low
Although I had a different type of Lymphoma and treatment, these side effects can unfortunately be part of the treatment journey. But I would recommend that you do call your team tomorrow just to make them aware and for them to give you advice if required.
Hi,
sadly side effects do occur, but it will be well worth phoning your team to find whether ALL of them are Chemo related....
Do keep an eye on your temp though, and also phone in if abnormal. Sometimes temperature can go down a lot as well as up.
Hope all stays well and this lymphoma gets kicked into touch for you
Hugs xxx
