Deauville score

Hi,

I don’t know that much about Deauville scores but I think it’s compared with the liver (which is a very busy and hard working organ) and a score of 3 or less is regarded as being pretty good, certainly I understand that a score of 2 is considered a remission. 
Will have a read up and if I’m wrong I will post again!

Have just had a read, and yes a score of 1 or 2 is considered a remission, 3 might be a borderline, but needs comparing carefully.

You’re sensible not to google! I’ve a good bit of knowledge as I worked in the NHS as an OT so know how and where to look things up; but I can still spook myself!

Yes Deauville 1-3 are generally considered PET-Negative at interim scan, and 1-2 at final scan.

Surprised your consultant couldn't answer those questions, especially as each case is very different.

There is often some residue left at end of treatment, and they don't know for absolute sure that there is some lymphoma left, they can never say that in anyone's case. But Deauville 2 is good.
