Hi KatD76 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community and, although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.
This sounds like a very difficult situation you find yourself in, especially as it sounds like your husband doesn't want you to have this conversation with your daughter, and I wonder if talking to one of the nurses on the Macmillan Support Line would help? They're available every day from 8am to 8pm on 0808 808 0000.
Wishing you all the best with whatever you decide is the right thing to do.
