So,I finally had a hearing test, and to be quite honest, I can't wait for my new hearing aids to arrive.. onwards and upwards..

  • Eye wateringly expensive  but I have a 5 year plan and see the same audiologist twice a year for checkups as well ad wax removal if needed. I can call or email anytime too

    Can radiotherapy damage your hearing?
    Hearing loss may start slowly in the first 2 years after treatment. Radiotherapy or the chemotherapy drug cisplatin may cause ringing in the ears (tinnitus). It often gets better as your ears recover from the effects of treatment. But it can sometimes be permanent.
