Hi all,
If you've had RT on lymph nodes do they disappear or just shrink? as mine is still there but a lot smaller, nothing the size it was.9 weeks post treatment.
Mark
Hi mine disappeared by week 5 of treatment. Some people shrink over time there’s no one size fits all. We’re all different in how we react l my pet ct scan was 18 weeks post treatment so yiuve plenty of time keep off dr Google and keep doing what you're doing.
it’s not easy but trust the treatment.

Thanks Hazel , just wondered if they stay just small lumps
I had one big in my collar bone we called it Larry was the size of a small plum by time treatment started he went as I said week 5. I had 6 others but I never felt them so can’t say they were in places where I couldn’t feel. P maybe don’t touch them for a week or so then have a feel. But I wouldn’t stress.the scans will tell

Mine too and the back of my tongue. When oncologist showed me on the scope how much tongue muscle had disappeared it was quite shocking. He was surprised I could swallow well. It never crossed my mind that I couldn’t. Strange.
