Phone call from the MacMillan nurse this morning to confirm my bronchoscopy from last week turned out all clear (just need to get another x-ray in 6 months) so I am officially now in remission
Strange mix of emotions. After bursting into tears right after the call to suddenly feeling very "meh" (similar to what I did when I found out I had it)
Regular check-ups / scans etc in plan for the next 5 years.
Just a relief that the last few months of absolute hell have been worth it in the end !
congratulations.. ATM it may feel like a bit of an anti climax, but when it finally sinks in and you look back at what you've been through, it won't seem so 'meh'..
