Just back home from completing my 10K over the Forth Road Bridge (4 crossings) to raise some money for the Mouth Cancer Awareness foundation.
Was a real challenge, as my fitness levels have been goosed since treatment ended. A bit redder in the face than I was a couple of hours ago and two sore feet, but was well worth it. Raised 3 times my initial target too which has blown me away.
Time for a hot bath and some well earned pints now.
Hoping next year to do something even more challenging to raise money for MacMillan
