Voice is back

Good news. You’ll be singing along soon. 

Hi Paulmc, I lost my voice for a good few weeks, didn't say a word, then one night while we were watching TV I spoke to my wife, she nearly jumped out of her skin, it was such a shock.

I did not lose my voice although it changed dramatically.  I found it a great struggle to get Google to understand what I wanted of it.  Not great when you have a smarthome!!  Fortunately, after a few weeks I am much better although I do sound like I have a heavy cold.

Ah, but did Alexa still play your favourite music or have you discovered a whole new genre? 

Like most people my house is voice controlled. I would say smart house but it’s stupid. “Alexa play Chris Evens “ playing Christmas .

Fabulous. I still sound hoarse and have done since week one. I can’t sing but that’s ok too. 

Hi 6 year son I still can’t sing in fact I couldn’t sing before but hubby says I sound like a screeching cat. I’ve lost my uvula (dangly bit at back of throat)due to radiotherapy melting it I can’t yodel either.lol

That made me laugh. Alexa is not allowed in my house. I remember a time when you had to get up off your sofa to change TV channels
