Sorry made a bit of a mess of that so I will start again. Got the results today.Cancer has not spread but the primary tumor is not showing so I will be having tonsils out .The scan has shown possible tumours one in right armpit and one on left groin, the doctor says this unlikely to be linked to the HPV cancer in my neck. When I asked for any ideas what this could be if the tumours turn out to be cancerous he said it may be lymphoma .I will be having CT scan and biopsy on wednesday.Has anyone heard of this happening before.Must admit I feel a little confused and disappointed as it's back to the waiting game again

Regarding possible lymphoma I actually have a friend who was diagnosed with practically the same just after she had finished treatment for tonsil cancer. She had chemo for it and is fine three years later
