Hi

I know it's a minor thing but I am wondering how others have got on ... I lost my hair to the back of my head up to the top of my ears during treatment (chemo x6 radiotherapy x30) and it has been growing back beautifully but curly.

I now have corkscrew curls at the back but the rest is still straight. Has anyone had this?

Thanks, Liz x

  • Nope. Mine grew back straight.

  • No, I lost all my hair during Chemo & it has just starting to grow again, but not at the base of the skull where the Radiation was targeted at front. Apparently it's early days & there's a chance it'll come. What I have is straight, before, my hair was wavy.

  • Thanks for the reply. It took 3 months before mine started to grow back and looked straight at first. I'm 7 months post treatment now and returning to work (RGN) so will need to tie my hair back.  I'm sure my unusual hairstyle will get commented on

  • Hi. Mine grew back with a crimped effect. I keep it cut very short at the back now

  • Hi,
