HPV16 tonsil cancer - treatment finished January 23.
It was all going so well. The cancer MRI showed all clear, I was getting fitter, was back at work, and had even been on two holidays in England. Then last Monday at work I got up from my chair and my knee gave way. Today I saw a physiotherapist who is sending me for an MRI to assess a miniscus tear in my knee.
They feel that because of radiotherapy it has weakened my cartilage. Has anyone else experienced this.
Stephen
But you didn’t get radiotherapy to your knee. How can they conflate the two. Seems nuts!
Sorry about the knee though. Hope you get it sorted soon. I might not rely on the NHS for this one though.
