Hi all
I haven't been active in the forum for a while as doing well in my remission - Stage 2b R tonsil cancer HPV 16+, surgery and adjuvant chemoradiation completed in Aug 2019.
Attended for routine OPA today and consultant thinks he felt something on my R side - for reassurance is requesting ultrasound. Scope all clear, no obvious swellings etc
Anyone eelse faced anything similar?
TIA
Good luck for tomorrow you’ve got this.

So thank you all for your sage words. The weekend was fine in the end. But of course, Trevor (as my malevolent little neck pal is known) is back with a vengeance like a particularly persistent stalker. Treatment options still being discussed but very likely to be 6 weeks of radiotherapy starting early October… sighs… rolls eyes…
Thank you for the update. Obviously not the news you were hoping for but sounds like they are quickly getting a plan of action together Trevor will soon be a distant memory
Sending lots and lots of positive thoughts your way. If you're up to it and want to, please keep us posted re.treatment and progress xx
Take care xx
