Hi all,
how are you all?
i am 11 months after the treatment. I am very well, as some of you already knows, feeling great, eating almost everything.
6 weeks ago i notice pimple on my gum getting white (pus?) pimple where excitation was. Doesn’t hurt, isn’t bloody, went to see oncologist asap. He wasn’t worried as he said. After seeing him, i had my normal checks up with my surgeon after 4 weeks. My pimple still there, nothing bigger or, different but still there. My surgeon saw it, no concerned at all. I am having my PET scan in a month time(my yearly checking out), and i am wondering if someone had same experience? I am cleaning regularly my teeth, using salty water and turmeric too.
Not sure what to think somehow, anxious about it, is there something to get nervous again shell i ask for x ray? Antibiotics?
it is worrying even i am not panicky person. Thanks love to all,
Marta x
Hi Marta. If both your surgeon and oncologist feel it’s not cancer then I would believe them. It’s hard. We worry about the smallest thing when we’ve had cancer. Hugs

Hi Marta. As time goes in the worry will get less, I find certain foods trigger ulcers in me sometimes simple stuff tomatoes and cheese being 2 of them. Be aware of how your own mouth feels and if the consultants aren’t worried trust in them they’ve got you this far. I got referred by my dentist last June it was nothing a ryvita had scratched my gum but was the dentist who referred me so I took her advise
best wishes for pet Ct scan.
