Hello Everyone,
I hope that you are all managing well and coping as well as you expect to with your condition.
It has been a while since I last posted an update but I am 'chuffed' to announce that I finished my first 2-course restaurant meal today - almost 2 years since my radiotherapy started.
It was my brirthday yesterday, I was 27 (reversed ), and we were out with friends today for lunch at Collinsons, Broughty Ferry. I ordered Pan Fried Hake, Sauté Potatoes & Vegetables, followed by Chocolate Mousse + Coconut Ice Cream and I finished the lot. I was also surprised when the waitress brought in a birthday cake and the whole place sang Happy Birthday to me; a wee bit of embarrassment there for me
Anyway, that is my update.
Onwards & Upwards,
Take Care,
Bob Turner

Hi Bob looking good and Happy birthday. Great for others just starting or finishing treatment ti see that life goes on. We were in Broughty ferry a year ago having lunch with a fellow hnc guy who I met via my blog. His wife is from Dundee now live in Sydney. Lovely place we only stayed a few hours.
