Steve: Tonsil Cancer HPV16. Discharged 14 March. Now on regular checks.
Tomorrow I have the first of my regular follow ups since being discharged. It is a new consultant, and suddenly I'm feeling anxious.
The side effects of a dry mouth, and a little swallowing trouble because of dryness, are looming large in my imagination. I'm sure everything is fine in there, but I'm just worried about niggles I have learnt to live with.

Hi Steve. What your getting is perfectly normal. It’s will ge come routine in a while . Just warning you you’ll probably have a camera uo nose and down throat. I find the consultant d are pretty slick at doing it. Pop back on and let us know. Has for new consultants I think I’m at the bottom ring now I’ve slowly been passed down the list. I’ve one more visit then I’m done.
