Well we went for the follow up app today after hubby had his op 3 weeks ago.
The news wasn't great!!
He had 35 lymph nodes taken out and some contained squamous cell cancer and had started to spread out. Also they couldn't reach all of the cancer in his tongue, so we are now facing the 6 weeks of daily radiotherapy and twice weekly chemo.
We have both come home feeling drained from all the information, the team were wonderful, but we do feel overwhelmed at the thought of the next few months treatment.
I'm sure I will he here picking your brains for support and helpful ideas.
