Hi Dani
We have the opposite problem here in Australia at the moment. It was 39 degrees Celsius yesterday. I get up early as it is cooler around 6.00a.m. and find that is the best time to get outside otherwise you can get really housebound staying near the airconditioner. Walking in the rain sounds like a great idea Dani. A big umbrella should do the trick. When we had our trip to the U.K. in Summer we still found the thing we used the most were our umbrellas. There always seemed to be a shower at some time during the day for many of the days we were there.

Hi Lyn. I've not bothered with umbrellas unless I'm wearing something smart. My jackets are all showerproof and Paramo are my go to for walking/hiking. When I lived in the Lake District it wasn't unheard of to go shopping with waterproof trousers too.
We had a cracking summer last year with temperatures up to 40 a couple of times. Now it's turning cold and snow is forecast...... Do you fancy a visitor for a few weeks? I'll bring my own tent.

Hi Dani
Sounds as though you have the weather licked. You just have to go with it don’t you. Same here. You work around the weather issues otherwise you’d never stick your nose outside the house.
Love to have you visit and enjoy the weather on my side of the world but you might find a tent a bit hot. Much nicer weather today only 27 degrees so the airconditioning is having a rest.
