We're finding it impossible to get travel cover with my husbands Terminal cancer of Hypopharynx diagnosis . His treatment since diagnosis has been brief palliative radiotherapy with mmunotherapy infusions scheduled for next 18 months with no other treatment. He's feeling fine. Todays conversation with the Oncologist was hopeful - yes he can travel!
We've trawled through loads of suggested companies ...and hit a brick wall on Hypopharangeal cancer and any cover for him.
The dream of a last cruise to the Sun has gone....the ship has sailed.
Any suggestions?
Hi, Mynydd, so sorry to hear you are in this position. If you haven't tried them, you could give Insurancewith a try, I have found them to be very good and helpful. I really do hope you can get something sorted, so you can have your cruise. All the best to you both.
Regards Ray.
Any suggestions?
Have you tried these

I am not sure this will help in your case - it is all about risk you are willing to take. I can't get cover for my cancer, but my bank (Nationwide) covers me for everything else. For me and where I am at the moment that works OK as I book last minute to reduce that risk and stand little chance of not being able to complete a holiday once started due to cancer (at the moment).
Hi staysure they may cover you and hubby to travel but exclude cancer? As Peter says he books last minute to mitigate the possibility of cancer stopping his travels. It all depends how averse to risk are you? Difficult one.
