I am not sure this will help in your case - it is all about risk you are willing to take.  I can't get cover for my cancer, but my bank (Nationwide) covers me for everything else.  For me and where I am at the moment that works OK as I book last minute to reduce that risk and stand little chance of not being able to complete a holiday once started due to cancer (at the moment).

Hi staysure they may cover you and hubby to travel but exclude cancer? As Peter says he books last minute to mitigate the possibility of cancer stopping his travels. It all depends how averse to risk are you? Difficult one.

My husband got a quote for us and put in my cancer operation etc

we were accepted the company is called Insure and go

Google them, they may be able to help, it’s worth a try, it may be different for each case
