For any gardeners or walkers out there, if you’re like me you’re constantly looking for ways to shield your neck after radiotherapy. Today, whilst trying to escape the sun in Salisbury, I came across this rather fetching U/V and U/W protective hat in Trespass. You can either wear it normally like this:
or for the ‘Beau Geste’ look, or when spending time bending down gardening, there’s a rollaway flap which does this:
Who’d have thought?
And even better, today they’re half price at £14.99. ( I’m sure they may be available from other retailers too )
Hurry while stocks last!
Hoping you’re all managing to keep cool
Ah, Betwys Coed! I bought a tin mug in Trespass there the week before the first lockdown. Plenty of outdoor shops to choose from.
There are plus we had to call into Llanberis to check out the stock as well.

Only a routine 3 monthly check and NAD or NED or whatever acronym you use!! Had a good chat about lots of aspects and we have concluded that I will not be discharged at the 5 year point but continue to have regular checks due to the rather unusual presentation of this cancer. I am OK with that and it is still another 2 1/2 years away!!
I asked about the post treatment vaccine trail at Southampton and my consultant was not aware of what I described (he works at both Salisbury and Southampton) but will make enquiries. If I qualify for the trial and can help others in the future then that's really good. I'll let you all know.
Hi Peter. Brilliant news the next 2.5 years will fly by.Fingers x fir the vaccine trial.
