Hi I have been up and down with symptoms while waiting for results. Repeat blood tomorrow to check the white blood cells, as slightly low count last month.
I’m just fed up of keeping all my fears inside, my husband never has to go near a doctor so he thinks everyone should be honky dory. I dread my biopsy and scan results as with all these symptoms it’s not going to be good.
Did anyone have tingling on other side of tongue too? I’ve checked it and these is a slight red patch there but I emailed photo to hospital and they don’t see it as concerning. I just feel I want to cry, I feel so alone.

It’s awful feeling so alone. All of us here do understand.
Are you in touch with your GP to help with your anxiety? There are ways to help you sleep properly too.
You’ve mentioned earlier that your biopsy hadn’t been marked as urgent so I would take that as good news that your surgeon doesn’t suspect cancer.
Do you know when the results are due?

Hi I’ve been ok this week with anxiety but didn’t take half a sleeping tablet and had a bad night and day with sore tongue. I have results in over 2 weeks time. I wish there were other people who go to Birmingham Dental Hospital but I can never find anyone similar. It is a lonely journey though. Thank you for replying.

Hang on. It won’t be long. Do pop in to the mouth cancer foundation meeting tomorrow if you find that helps.
