Hi I Hope everyone's getting on as best as possible. Has anyone had a neck dissection and get pains like on the outside of their head etc or headaches. Just want the heads up All the Best Minmax
The time frame thay have given you is a good one based on my experience. The issues gradually reduce until you either fail to notice them or adapt to other ways of doing things.

i had a neck dissection early June and have had 30 sessions of radiotherapy, the pain on the outside of the head will dissipate after a while and I found paracetamol very good and helped a lot. Good luck
Thanks LenD I am a few years down the line on the neck dissection and to be honest with you they are intermittent pains which is great as opposed to constant . All the Best Minmax
