Just wee heads up, for anyone interested , 5 minute segment on BBC1 Morning Live today about HPV and head/neck cancer. Nothing new but good to see they getting the word out and about. It’s on the Iplayer / Catch up
Hi Brian Thanks for update , I did some preliminary interviews with the BBC before Christmas. I’ve just found it on IPlayer it’s 43 minutes in if anyone wants to watch it. It’s about promoting the boys to get the vaccine as numbers are dropping year in year. So anyine with grandchildren boys or girls they get the vaccine in year 8 at high school. Theres some exceptions that if they’ve missed it previously the can get it if under 26 on the nhs or if over van pay privately.

Hi At the moment it’s boys born after 1 September 2006 there’s talks in progress re the levelling up with girls but at moment gp s are restricted to the guideline's. I know nhs vaccine directives are looking into the ages but no thing so far as been confirmed.
I do know some parents have paid for the vaccines if their boys don’t qualify. You can always ask your GP
Sorry can’t be more helpful.

You can buy the vaccine at Boots the Chemist
The NHS advice is
The number of doses you need depends on your age and how well your immune system works:

Having watched it I can see why they picked two men with HNC. You'd have been great, though
