watched this last night, eyes leaked on a couple of occasions, but a good watch.. told my family to give it a go, so as to have some idea of what my journey maybe like.. 

Glad you survived it. You’ll be fine. Glad he raised the spectre of HPV if only fleetingly. 

yes, true.. more understanding of HPV needs to be had.. my daughter was aware of vaccines, but not that it could linger for years undetected. 

And there are many more cases of throat cancer now than cervical and commensurately more deaths. If you talk to a lot of people here you discover that most  had never heard of tonsil cancer let alone the link with HPV and the fact that the chief presenting sign is a swollen neck lymph node 

We need to be more aware
